| Site Description | Former concrete mosque of uncertain, but modern date. During the Presidency of Maumoon Abdul Gayoom (1978-2008) the building was used for women to take fardhu or tarawih prayer on Ramadan. According to Husheedh Rashadh, a local resident, the mosque was maintained by the local council at that time. The building is no longer in use but survives in fair condition. The building lies within a small compound defined by an older coral rubble wall (KFA-KSD-5-S1). The compound appears to now be used for cultivating plants. |
