| Site Description | Salvation Mountain is a man-made artistic installation created by Leonard Knight next to the Salton Sea in the colorado desert of Southern California. The museum structure, constructed from found materials, suffered some significant damage in storms between 2022-2024. This scan is part of a multi-year imaging and monitoring campaign in collaboration with the Cultural Engineering Initiative at UC San Diego, and Salvation Mountain Inc. | |
